A short 4 day 3 night stay in Patong beach area. I had a cosy hotel about 20 minutes walk away from the busy beach. Food was excellent (Banzann Market). I particularly loved the Paad Thai as well as that BBQ'ed stuff on sticks. Regardless of what you call them, its bloody good stuff. The chili burns you like some liquefied gas.
The people of Thailand are simple, hardworking and highly skilled in arts. Be in food preparation, music or technical skills, they excel at what they do for one sole purpose - to live.
